Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) allows enrolled citizens to check their status online or by sending SMS, if you do not have internet available. Users can check their status by providing their Enrollment Number, Date and Time.
What information do you need to check your AADHAAR Status?
You will need Enrolment ID to look-up Status online. At top of your your acknowledgement slip, you can find 14 digit enrolment number and 14 digit date and time. These are total 28 digits, which form your temporary enrolment ID (EID).
If you can not find your enrolment ID, you can see image below. 14 digit enrolment number and 14 digit date is highlighted in red. Combination of these will make you 28 digit EID.
How to check your AADHAAR Status Online?
To check your AADHAR card status – Click Here
- Enter your 14 digit Enrolment ID or 28 digit Enrolment ID with Date time stamp. You can find this ID on your Acknowledgement slip.
- Fill in the security code which you find above the submit button. This is for verification that you are a human, not a computer program to scan data.
- Click on submit button.
How to check Aadhaar status by sending SMS?
Now you can also check Aadhaar status by sending SMS from your registered mobile number.
SMS “UID STATUS ” (e.g. UID STATUS 12345678901234) to 51969.
If your Aadhaar has been generated and SMS is sent from registered mobile then you will receive the Aadhaar number.
If not, You will receive current status of the Aadhaar.
